Suna EDC Plate// EDC Bead Display Plate (milled out back)

The Suna plate is a modular EDC desk display plate inspired by Japanese dry gardens, karesansui, and the soft visual texture of shiro suna, or white sand.

This first iteration is designed as a bead holder, built around a blasted white G-10 base with a repeating CNC-milled zen garden pattern across the surface. The circular toolpaths create a raked-sand effect, giving each plate a clean but tactile display presence for beads, small EDC pieces, and future modular accessories. (Note: White G-10 can stain easily. Apply acetone to a cloth and wipe; another alternative would be a melamine sponge). 

Each Suna plate includes three removable and swappable 6061 aluminum shafts of different lengths, allowing you to change the display layout depending on the pieces you want to showcase. The plates can also connect modularly using two stainless steel dowel pins, so multiple plates can be joined together into a larger display system.

I wanted this to feel like a high end object, not a cheap 3D printed plastic stand. Every plate and component is CNC machined, with a dense, solid feel in hand. No 3D printed plastic.

Each plate also includes an engraved circular description plaque on the underside and four rubber feet to help keep it planted on your desk.

This is the first Suna plate configuration, but it is designed to be cross compatible with future iterations.
